notes on hyperbole video:
chickens
cruelty
large amounts of workers\
processed meat
machine operated
animals in captivity
slaughter house
families buying the products
fallout
The video shows how meat is made in the factories, what takes place and how it works. Chickens being pulled through a farm tractor, next cows being milked on a large carousel, and lastly pigs being raised to be slaughtered. Also, it shows large amounts of workers on assembly lines separating and preparing and doing whatever it is that they do to make the meat able to be sold. The video then switches to a grocery store where families are buying these products from cows, chickens and pigs, in large quantities. Lastly, it shows a man in a doctors office who is obese and is getting marked up for a surgery to take place, probably to improve health conditions
The video portrays the primary topic to be the slaughterhouse of animals, and how gruesome it is. The problem would be that we overproduce and and have large quantities, and that falls into the human culture by making obesity. The message would be that we gorge ourselves and we have a lot of obesity in our culture, which does kill people. The purpose would be that the creator wants to show a perspective of overproducing and the human culture is turning into animals. The audience would be anyone that is into the way animals are treated and how they are slaughtered.
This video was interesting, but not the most intriguing six minutes I have seen in my life. It does a good job showing a message and reaching out to people, but humans need food to survive and many people eat meat so the demand for all this production is necessary to keep us humans alive.
